About The Event
Free showing of the short documentary Let My People Vote, which was filmed in Tampa before the 2016 presidential election and tells the story of one man, Desmond Meade, who takes his own voter disenfranchisement as a call to action. Professor Wendel Hunigan will lead the discussion after the movie. Presented in partnership with the NAACP Galesburg. Film directed by Gilda Ann Brasch, VUSI Filmworks.
